WHEN GOD DISAPPOINTS.........???

I believe there is one very peculiar feeling with a lot of us believers....Sometimes the feeling of being disappointed or let down by God creeps in and tends to weigh us down.

Many times, we tend to compare our life with Christ with our life without Him...Asking questions like, is it really worth it? I serve God, I give all it takes to remain a child of God, and sometimes it just happens that God doesn't meet up with our own "expectations from Him". Sometimes those promises He has promised delay. Sometimes they don't even come when we think we needed them.

It's the end of the year again and a lot of us had great expectations for 2012. Now we are less than 2 months to the end of the year and we haven't seen anything happen. I am going to share an article I read and that has blessed me and that I believe will bless you too.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN WHEN EVEN GOD DISAPPOINTS

This article is for those of us who have done everything we know to carry out our mission, work through our challenge, or work out our problem God’s way, only to have it blow up in our faces.

What on earth do you do when following God not only results in more trouble, but leads you headlong right into it? When I find myself in situations like this, I look to my favorite personality in the Bible, Joseph.

The more often I read through the biblical account of Joseph’s life, the more respect I gain for this man, who remained innocent of wrong doing despite how poorly he was treated. When I grow up, I want to embrace suffering, stand for righteousness, forgive others, and honor God with my sincere, loving attitude, just as Joseph did.
Genesis 39 opens with Joseph working in the home of the Captain of the Guard’s home. Potiphar and his family were upper class Egyptians. Logic would lead us to believe that their position in Egyptian society afforded them the best their pagan culture had to offer – including everything that could potentially ensnare a sheltered, favored Hebrew boy, such as Joseph.

Despite his low position, Joseph worked diligently in Potiphar’s house – enough to get noticed and promoted. I say this because it fits his pattern. Jacob, who had a great deal of wealth in his own right, had seen fit to place his youngest son over all of his older sons. Yes, that could have been due to the fact that Joseph was his favorite – but Jacob/Israel was a hustler at heart (Genesis 25-28, 30:27-43). So it’s doubtful that he would put his wealth in the hands of an untrustworthy son – no matter how much he favored him.
With God’s favor resting upon him, Joseph quickly became second-in-command of Potiphar’s household (Genesis 39:4), then later, second-in-command of the prison (Genesis 39:21-23), and finally second-in-command of the entire nation (Genesis 41:39-43). His hard work got him noticed, but so did his good looks.
The narrative states that as Potiphar’s wife began to lust after Joseph, she propositioned him. When he turned her down, she launched a sexual harassment campaign that would put the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill debacle to shame by comparison. Finally, once she ambushed Joseph, causing him to flee so quickly that he left his cloak behind, and realized his rejection was firm, she had him thrown into prison under the false accusation of attempted rape.
Okay – Potiphar’s wife was a loser. There is no question about it. But Joseph was beyond reproach. He was noble in his rejection of her. He reasoned with her, explaining that Potiphar had been gracious to him. He reaffirmed his faith in God, stating that he could never disappoint God by sleeping with his boss’ wife. By all appearances, Joseph did everything right. And how was he repaid? He was sent to rot in jail where he would spend years of his life for a crime of which he was totally innocent.

He was thrown into what was arguably one of the worst prison systems in the ancient world, because he refused to dishonor God. And God did nothing to stop it. What do you do with that kind of reality? What do you do when you end up feeling like a complete fool for doing things God’s way?
You do what Joseph did. You determine to do your very best, wherever you find yourself, trusting that the God you follow is true to his word and will never leave you nor forsake you. When you can’t bring yourself to trust God’s actions toward you, place your trust in his character. If you truly know him, it is because you have a history with him. In other words, you have a shared past. Rely on it.
Unlike a stock fund, with God past performance does guarantee future results. That’s why he has given us the bible. If you have no personal history with God yet, or you have forgotten his faithfulness to you in the past, then pour through his word to see how he has dealt with the faithful, and to review his promises with your own eyes. Pray them back to him. Where the bible is concerned, reading is believing. He does not change. What he has done for others, he can do for you. Offer up to him the very thing, results, situation you hope for. If it is for you, he will return it. If he’s going to take it anyway, you might as well offer it up to him. Pull on his coat tails for wisdom. He tells us to ask. Stay in his face. He tells us to seek and persist. Worship him through tears if you must. Come to church mad – but come anyway. But do not leave his side. Do not let go of his hand. Do not turn away. Do not give up on him.

At one point in my life, when the bottom fell out, I remember grabbing my bible, pouring through the Psalms, circling in red ink every promise that pertained to my situation and begging God to show me how any of it could be true, given what he was allowing to happen. I felt betrayed by God and stupid for trying to live a moral life. I remember wishing I could go back to my old life B.C.. The problem was that I knew my life before Christ was a sham with a dead end. I had come too far. I could not quit. There was nowhere to go but forward.

So I plodded ahead, but my attitude was bad. But as I began to preoccupy myself with God’s word, and serving those I could help, he began to change my perspective. My situation did not change for years – many years in fact. But my attitude toward it changed so drastically that the oppression lost its hold on me. In the midst of my struggle, I experienced true freedom. A freedom that allowed me not only to wait patiently for God’s timing, to do so with a good attitude, but to thank him for the original affliction!
I am fully aware of how crazy that sounds. But I believe that is why I enjoy Joseph so much. After all he endured at the hands of his brothers, Potiphar, Potiphar’s wife, and even the negligent, lying cupbearer, he showed no traces of bitterness – only wisdom and grace. What a beautiful spirit he became in the hands of a loving God, who allowed him to suffer for the right reasons. Oh yes, when I grow up, I definitely want to be like Joseph. What a beautiful spirit.

GOD'S MERCY by REBECCA STARK

I have been doing a lot of indepth study on the topic "God's Mercy". This is one article that simplifies it the most and I pray you are blessed by reading.

God's mercy is another one of his attributes that comes from his goodness, and so it is also closely related to his love and grace. Mercy has to do specifically with God's characteristic attitude toward people who are in trouble. It is God's pity for those who are miserable or suffering or needy, and helpless in their situation; but it includes more than just a feeling of pity, for his mercy has his rescuing power behind it. Out of God's mercy he rescues from difficulty; out of his mercy he saves the powerless; out of his mercy he heals the sick. God's delivering activity toward the oppressed, the afflicted, the poor, and the fatherless are all described as coming from his mercy. Since all of his creation is so dependent upon him, the psalmist can say that "his tender mercies are over all his works (Psalm 145:9)."

Like all of God's attributes, God's mercy in intrinsic to him. He is called "the Father of mercies" and a "God of mercy" (2 Cor. 1:3, Neh. 9:17). His mercy is also abundantly great and boundless, higher than the heavens and filling the earth. Scripture refers to "the multitude of his mercies" (Lam. 3:32) because the acts stemming from this attribute are so numerous.

His mercy is eternal and unchanging. God's mercy is "from everlasting to everlasting" (Psalm 103:17) in the same way that God himself is from everlasting to everlasting. His mercies don't cease or fail, because they are new every morning (Lam. 3): constantly fresh and perfect and never fading with age. His mercy endures forever.

DID YOU EVER LISTEN TO THIS SONG.....????

Yeah, yeah.....With songs like this, I can tell that I am old. lol

DID YOU EVER LISTEN TO THIS SONG.....?

To think that the song was like my favourite when I was very young...Like very young. Who listened and loved it too?

WEAKNESSES

The dictionary defines the word WEAKNESS as a flaw or weak point. It's also defined as
imperfection, imperfectness - the state or an instance of being imperfect, flaw - defect or weakness in a person's character. For the purpose of this piece, I'd stick to the definition that defines WEAKNESS AS THE STATE OF BEING IMPERFECT. OR THE STATE OF IMPERFECTION.

I found myself asking God questions like "What exactly is this weakness thing". "Why'd one have to keep battling with some of these things". "Why does it seem like somethings won't just not happen". Then I got this answer by the Spirit of God which for me remains the truest and most accurate definition of that word WEAKNESS.
He said, WEAKNESS IS THE ONLY POINTER TO THE FACT THAT YOU ARE MAN. I queried further, and I got to understand that ther is ONLY ONE PERFECT ONE. Remove imperfection from Man and we cease to be man!!!! In other words, our weakness is meant to always bring us to that point where of our own selves we can do nothing. It brings us to that  point where we need God. A point where we acknowledge that indeed, His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses.

What weakness is......

1. It is a pointer to the fact that you are only human.
2. It is resident in everyone
3. Differs from personality to personality
4. It's a yardstick to measure your " growth and maturity" because as time passes by, we naturally outgrow some of them.
5. It is sometimes, if not checked, a killer in many ways.
6. It is sometimes, if checked, an image shaper, character builder, and' growth measurer"

What weakness is not......

1. It is not a disease
2. it is not a curse
3. It is not most times deliberate
4. It doesn't imply you are useless

Summary.........

*God is aware of those weaknesses
*The beauty of this thing called weakness is that this same weakness of yours is someone else's strength.
* Everyone that has got a weakness has got a strength too.
*Every single person including those who castigate you for your weakness, has got something to deal with too.
*Your weakness is meant to be improved on and not to keep you in constant self pity no matter what everyone thinks of it.
*Run away from people who ENHANCE those weaknesses
*Dwell less on them and pray more about them because God knows we have them all and He is ready to help us all time
*Channel your energy to developing your strong points
*Be open to constructive criticisms/corrections
*Discovering and working on your weaknesses brings you out as gold after everything, because for every one u discover and resolve to, with the help of God, work on, it leaves you a better person.
* Some people might hate you for your weaknesses, or some might just keep bringing it open slamming it unto your very face at every time. Some may even judge you by it.That could be frustrating though, but there is only one thing to do .....Beleive in You. God ain't through with you yet. Everyone is a project with the big sign board (CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS).
*Trust God more to help you.
*Look out more for people who'd complement those weaknesses and eventually rub on you.

Having said all these, I beleive that someone will be like me, and let go of those shortcomings and inabilities of yours because You are  only human, and let the ONLY PERFECT GOD work on us and bring us out as gold.

He is the potter, we are the clay. If we'd go to that potter's house today, He'd break, mould and shape us into no other person's image than HIS.

Have a great week ahead.

IS DIVORCE EVER AN OPTION?

Interesting piece on God's stand about divorce and what the bible says about divorce. I have personally heard a lot of arguments and opinions and explanations on whether or not divorce is permitted for Believers.

As far as I am concerned, the bible remains our STANDARD. Please read and be blessed......

Is it ok to divorce?
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” He answered, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:3–6)

God’s position on divorce
For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the LORD, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the LORD of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.” (Malachi 2:16)
To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife. (1 Corinthians 7:10–11)

Marriage covenant unto death (Adultery’s potential to end marriage)
A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 7:39)
But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” (Matthew 5:32)
And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.” (Matthew 19:9)

HOW GRATITUDE CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Gratitude is more or less like the "most taken for granted" action in our days. I read this article on how gratitude can change your life and I decided to share. Be blessed as you read on.

If  the only prayer you say in your life is ‘thank you,’ that would suffice. – Meister Eckhar

Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present. In addition, behavioral and psychological research has shown the surprising life improvements that can stem from the practice of gratitude. Giving thanks makes people happier and more resilient, it strengthens relationships, it improves health, and it reduces stress.

Research Shows Gratitude Heightens Quality of Life

Two psychologists, Michael McCollough of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and Robert Emmons of the University of California at Davis, wrote an article about an experiment they conducted on gratitude and its impact on well-being. The study split several hundred people into three different groups and all of the participants were asked to keep daily diaries. The first group kept a diary of the events that occurred during the day without being told specifically to write about either good or bad things; the second group was told to record their unpleasant experiences; and the last group was instructed to make a daily list of things for which they were grateful. The results of the study indicated that daily gratitude exercises resulted in higher reported levels of alertness, enthusiasm, determination, optimism, and energy. In addition, those in the gratitude group experienced less depression and stress, were more likely to help others, exercised more regularly, and made greater progress toward achieving personal goals.

GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY!!!! LOL

Watch this video and search your self....Funny but true.

Sometimes, as worship ministers, and generally as beleivers, this is actually what we are singing. Self-worship. Self-exhortation. Self-centred praise. We worship with words and emotions, but our hearts are so so so faraway from the one who is really the CENTRE OF OUR WORSHIP. The one whom it is all about.  May God have mercy on us all. (AMEN).

NEW MUSIC: KOSENITOTO by MOTARA

Hmmm, Motara is a lady I love soooo much (winks). Right below is her new worship song to God.  One question in my heart to us all is, How well do we know God? How well do do we know His Names? How often do we call Him His Names? How often do we take time to revere Him in His Awesomeness. I know He is Inexhaustible.....Incomprehensible...and we can NEVER get to kmow ALL about HIM,but the more we worship and adore Him, the more He reveals Himself to us in His diverse Awesome Nature(s).

I pray...ooh....Motara prays that this song inspires us  all to worship God and get to discover Him in much more ways than we ever knew Him.

KOSENITOTO means NONE LIKE HIM and she also features her friend and sister Juliet Onyeka on the song. The song is produced by an amazing music producer, Minister Sean Keyz.

WHEN GOD IS SILENT.........

Awesome piece I got on the internet on the internet on a very sensitive topic, especially for those of us who sometimes wonder if God is listening to us at all or if He is just being silent on our issues.
Read on and be blessed.......

I have to admit, I usually cringe when someone starts a conversation with
“God told me …” It just makes me uncomfortable. I wonder if they’re one
of the weirdo Christian types or a bit delusional. Sure, maybe it’s a
prematurely negative reaction, but having heard people boast “God told
me xyz” during much of my youth has made me somewhat of a skeptic. It’s
not that I doubt God’s ability to speak to us. It’s that I sometimes
question people’s motive for telling me, or their on-the-money
certainty, or the smug look-how-special-I-am attitude with which they
say it.
In the church where I grew up, apparently God was telling all my peers who
to marry and which Bible college to attend. Hearing God was quite the
obsession. Because I didn’t hear God telling me things with the clarity
my friends were, I felt like a religious reject. God was more silent
than not. Granted, I’m sure there were times I didn’t listen and other
times when I should have been paying more attention. I won’t be naive
and deny that. Still, He just wasn’t as transparent and as clear to
see, hear and understand as I believed He should have been. I was
plagued with questions. Why was God ignoring me? What was wrong with
me? What did I do or not do? Was I not sincere? Should I pray more? And
on and on.
I’ve since resolved, or have more peace than not, with the fact that God
doesn’t communicate with me in theatrics, but with a quiet assurance.
Sure, it bothers me every now and then, but I remind myself that it
just happens to be His modus operandi. I don’t have to walk around
thinking I suck because other people are allegedly hearing God talk to
them in flowery soliloquies that could match the length of a novella
and I don’t.

7 WAYS TO PUSH PAST YOUR LIMITS.

The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals and dreams are your limits. It’s when you meet your limits that you feel resistance and things you want seem harder to achieve. Whether it is fear, doubt, physical abilities or some other mental block, it can present a huge barrier to getting what you want.
Unfortunately most people can’t work past their limits and give up. So how far you get in reaching your dreams is very dependent on how good you are at overcoming this obstacle. Fail to push past your limits and you’ll leave your dreams unrealized. Work through them and you can make any dream or goal a reality.

Pushing Past Your Limits
A few years ago I decided to go to the gym on a regular basis. In order to build the muscle I wanted, I would regularly lift weights, do my cardio and eat well. I made a lot of progress at first, but eventually I met resistance and my exercise goals became harder to attain. I had reached my limit.

What happened was I had become complacent in my exercise routine by lifting with the same amount of weight and reps every single time I went to the gym. Looking back on it now, I can definitely see why I wasn’t making any progress. Only after increasing the weight and pushing myself to work harder was I able to take my weight-lifting goals to the next level.
I think this situation is similar to the trouble most people have in achieving their goals and dreams. No matter what you want to achieve, you’re going to eventually reach your limits and make little or no progress. You just need to make sure you’re taking the necessary action to make sure your limits don’t become a big problem.

Here are seven things you can do to push past your limits:  Continue here

DONT COMAPRE YOURSELF WITH OTHERS

While reading my devotional this morning, I got a clearer understanding of how much more dangers we expose ourselves to when we compare ourselves with others. A lot of us are guilty of this in one way or the other and that is why I decided to share this piece. Be blessed as you read on.....

When I was a child in elementary school, I had a reputation for being rambunctious. My older sister, on the other hand, had a more serene nature. Once, when my classmates and I were waiting in line to get our lunch, I got bored and began rallying the other kids to play “leap frog” with me. Needless to say, my teacher was not pleased, and when she reprimanded me, she declared, “Your sister would never do that!” It was a statement that I would never forget, and that would haunt me in the years to come. All the way through to 12th grade, my sister had many of my teachers before I did, and I constantly felt dogged by comparisons that made me feel inadequate and inferior. My sister was smarter and more conscientious, and no matter how many awards and honors I won, they always seemed to fall short of hers. It seemed as though there was a recording inside my head playing the same thing over and over, “What’s wrong with me?”
The negative mindsets I developed in my childhood didn't vanish when I entered my 20s. I managed to carry them with me into adulthood. When I married my husband, I began comparing myself to other spouses. And when I had my two sons, comparing myself to other parents became the norm. The whole time my children were growing up, I was a stay-at-home mom, and I always felt very comfortable with this role. That is, unless I saw other mothers who had jobs outside their homes, and were bringing home paychecks to boost their family's income. I always seemed to have my hands full just trying to be a full-time housewife and mom. How did other women do it? And what was wrong with me?

WORDS OF WISDOM by Seun Sajuyigbe

Seun wrote this note on her facebook wall and I decided to share here. There is nothing but absolute truth in all this. Read on and be blessed.

There are no absolute finish line 4 everyone in d race of life. Our tracks are different, our lanes are different & our durations are different. D only thing we have in common is the same umpire. For instance one person graduates @ age 20 & struggles for another five years to get a job, another might graduate @ age 25 & gets a job immediately. One can marry a virgin & wait for d next decade to have... d blessings of children, another lady probably after having series of abortions in her past, becomes a mum almost immediately after marriage. A fellow becomes MD @ 38 and dies @ 56, another becomes MD @ 55 and lives to 90 what a life. life is full of twists, turns, ups & downs and many more surprises & disappointments. Life offers each one of us different opportunities. It is up to each of us to patiently prepare, wait, recognise & utilise every opportunity. We learn on the way. No one knows it all or has it better. There is a reason why we all don't fall @ d same time. Its so dat when one is down, weak & discouraged, d other who is strong, can encourage and uplift him. God never promised that the road would be easy but He promised never to leave nor forsake us. There's no competition in life so let's learn to go easy on ourselves & trust that God is working it all 4 good (even if it doesn't make sense now).I know dat there is a time 4 everything but most importantly that "it will come to pass". Whatever trials, challenges or down time, this too shall pass & in due course, u'll be up & strong again 2 lift up those who maybe down around you".Lots of things in life are by choice & not by force. Let God take the wheels in our Lives!

NEW VIDEO: HIGHER by Lara George

Enjoy this new video from Lara George. It's a new single off her forthcoming album.

MEET PHIL DRISCOLL

Ever heard about the man who plays the trumpet and the blind people receive their sight? I have heard his music time and time again and all I can say is indeed this man is anointed of God.
Trumpeter Phil Driscoll has received a Grammy Award and several Dove Awards. Although he is known best as a Christian musician, he has also released classical, country, and contemporary albums that feature a mix of instrumental and vocal tracks. Driscoll has also recorded patriotic songs, such as "The Star-Spangled Banner," "America the Beautiful," and "Battle Hymn of the Republic." In addition, he has performed at several Democratic Party conventions. In addition to playing the trumpet, Driscoll is also an accomplished singer; his voice has been compared to Joe Cocker and Ray Charles.

Driscoll was born in Seattle, Washington, where his father was the pastor of a small full-gospel church. As a toddler, he spent many services under the piano, listening to his mother thump hymns while his father preached. After two years, the family moved to Spokane, Washington, where his father spent the next two years as pastor of another church; during this period, Driscoll recalled, he often played a little yellow and red plastic trumpet on street corners to accompany his father's preaching. After that, the family moved to Dallas, Texas, where Driscoll's parents built two churches in five years. Click here for more about Phil Drisccol.

WHAT THEY DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT ABORTION AND HOW GOD CHANGED MY LIFE by Diane Meyer

Very interesting and touching story, I must say. He is a God of not just a second chance, but a God of many chances. Please read on.....

The following nine minute testimony was shared in the services of Good Shepherd Community Church January 18 & 19, 1997. Diane shared this in the middle of a message on unborn children given by Randy Alcorn.
When I was 17, I found myself apart from my family, involved in an unhealthy relationship with a man and pregnant—which was something I didn’t want to think about or deal with.
Eventually, though, I did go down to Lovejoy abortion clinic in Portland to make an appointment to have an abortion. I made this decision because I had no desire to be a mother, and quite honestly, because I was terrified of going through the pain of labor. I just didn’t think of it as being wrong.
When I was examined I was found to be 24 weeks, or six months, pregnant. But I was assured that although I couldn’t have a simple clinical abortion, I could still have one done at a nearby hospital. I agreed. I would have done anything to not be pregnant, and I showed up at the hospital on the scheduled day.
ProLife Answers to ProChoice ArgumentsI was placed, along with about a dozen other young girls, in a large basement ward which was lined with cots. There, we received a saline injection in our abdomens which was designed to kill our unborn babies and expel their tiny bodies.

7 WAYS TO TACKLE YOUR FEAR AND DEVELOP YOUR COURAGE

Stumbled on this inspiring piece and thought to share: Read on and be blessed.

Are your fears holding you back from living the life you deserve?
On a scale from 1 to 10, how much are your fears holding you back in life: ______.
Do you wish you could show more courage in your day-to-day dealings with others?
How would you show more courage: ____________________.
If you had more courage, maybe you could ask for that raise you've been waiting for, feel more confident in closing that next sale, or even invite the girl of your dreams to go out on a date! The possibilities are endless!
But what is courage, really? Courage is the ability to continue moving forward even in the face of challenge, adversity, and fear.
Without fear, there could be no bravery. So being courageous is largely about managing fear as best you can and still taking the best action available to you.
Courage Is Like A Psychological Muscle.
Being brave is similar to lifting weights. The more you participate, the easier it becomes. Alternatively, the more you're willing to use and accept fear as an excuse not to move forward, the easier that path becomes. You get good at the things you practice regularly.

SELF ENDORSEMENT

Recently I watched a funny episode of Jerry Springer's show. A lady was actually sleeping with her cousin's boyfriend because he is the only who has ever made her feel beautiful. I watched on with pity as the girl broke into tears saying "I slept with him because he is the only one who has ever told me I'm beautiful". "As a matter of fact, I love him. No one has ever made me feel beautiful and wanted". Annoyingly enough, when the guy in question was interviewed and asked why he did something like that, he said " I slept with her out of pity. I dont love her. She was all over me because I told her she's beautiful".

I know quite a lot of people who have had to deal with the issue of self esteem, Self confidence or self endorsement like I put it. I wrote a nite sometime ago on facebook and I will love to share it again on this blog and trust God that someone will break free from all form os self pity and self destruction.

I was sharing some few things with my pastor's wife some time ago and in the course of our discussion, she made a statement that has ever since played and replayed time and time again in my head. This statement she made, I beleive is the foundation of anything and everything, good or bad. I pray that as I share this small piece with you, someone will be blessed and will dare to rise again.

She said....."Apart from the fact that I got endorsement from my family and friends, even I endorsed MYSELF". The statement stuck!!!! She got endorsement from everyone around her, but she went ahead to ABOVE ALL, OVER ALL, MOST IMPORTANTLY, endorse herself.

ZUMBA DANCE: THE ACCIDENT TURNED BIG BUSINESS

Ever heard about the Zumba Dance? Read this....

(Reuters) - Alberto Perez started out as a street performer and then an aerobics teacher in Colombia, making extra cash on the side teaching the wives of businessmen how to dance in nightclubs in his hometown, Cali.
Today, he stands at the center of the Zumba exercise craze, having helped transform Zumba Fitness, a private company, into a rapidly growing fitness empire with heavyweight investor backing.
"I'm not a businessman, but I knew this had the potential to be something special," said Perez, who along with two Colombian associates founded the Miami-based company.
Zumba, a Latin dance-inspired aerobic workout, has exploded from a Miami gym phenomenon to infomercial and DVD smash hit into a global craze with some 12 million people taking classes every week in at least 125 countries. Zumba Fitness now boasts being the largest branded fitness program in the world.
Started on a shoestring budget in a Miami garage nearly 11 years ago, Zumba Fitness now has more than 200 employees, and a pair of New York investment firms are betting the craze has staying power.
