A new day!!!!A new location!!!! Resumed work in my head office today, and ....sheeeeeeeeesh.......I don't even want to talk about how it feels working in a new environment. I can only pray i get used to it as soon as I can.

God's message to us this morning is that we should RELAX and ENJOY the RIDE in 2010.....it might not be smooth all the way, but we have an ANCHOR that keeps the soul, steadfast and sure when the billows roll, when the road gets rough, when the sea gets stormy.....He has assured us of a safe landing....Safe arrival to our destination, whuich is the place HE has prepared for us. I pray God helps us to trust and hold on to HIM because HE alone is the TRUE FRIEND that LOVES us sooo much. He's our surest ally. He's most dependable. He's got my back and HE'd do anything to keep me safe in HIS arms......

I can keep talking on and on and on of God's love and faithfulness...of how reliable and dependable He is...

Have a great day people and stay connected to GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd kip u posted on how my stay in V.I goes.

ADURA YA!!!!!!

Please let's pray oooooooooooo. It's really getting out of hand!!!!!

CHANGE!!!!

I got a call yesterday saying .."Toyin, go and resume in the V.I office on Monday...you'd be releiving Usong for 2 weeks.." and I went like....OMG, "why do u have to let me go, why must I be the one, I love my team in Apapa, I've never worked in V.I office, I don't even like to see some faces in the Head Office....bla bla blo blo ble ble bla yan yan yan yann...; and my boss responded saying "I'm sorry, u just have to go, there's no one else to take that place, so, please you have to leave for the head office on Friday". Oh my GOSH!!!!!

Change is one thing that we as humans tend to react to...either positively or negatively. Most times, the changes are not even looking favorable. Some times, these changes don't look like it's gonna be for my good or it's gonna be in my favour. The feeling of "I'm just comfortable with where I am" for all the justifiable reasons in the world creeps in and we just HATE to CHANGE!!!!

As I thought deeply and lamented within me......something dropped in my Spirit. God knows something about this temporary relocation......He has a hand in it. He has just set me up to step me up!!!I'm starting this year on a note of relocation. I was encouraged not to resist the change of environment. God is going to start some shake-ups that will arise into some changes in our lives this year. Some relocations will take place and I pray that God will help us to be sensitive enough in our Spirit to when God wants us to MOVE.

The change has come, and I will not resist it. Have a good day!!!!

DRYNESS gives way to SHOWERS

Beautiful wet morning it is ds morning...and I must confess that @times like this, I wish I didn't really have to come to work.I'm even yawning rigyt now @work...imagine!!!

Is it not significant that the rains have started too early in a year....I don't think I have witnessed such a wet beginning of a year. January is noted for it's dryness...I mean the harmattan, the cold, dry lips, dry weather and most importantly DRY POCKETS***winks***

Remember we said something about all things being new earlier in the year....God has just confirmed His word to us, that because He's the God of all flesh, and because He's the one that controls seasons (dry and rainy), He can decide to make all things NEW for us in this NEW year. January may have been noted for dryness but God has decided to send His showers from above upon us......breakthroughs and promotions don't come so early in the year, but God is saying that there's going to be a change.....2010, our year of wonders...somebody is going to record great unspeakable breakthroughs even from the beginning of the year(I am that person sha oooo). His Showers will be soo much on somebody that by mid-year you will have no room to contain it. Stay connected to God and be sensitive in your SPirit for what God is set to do with us and in us.

The HEAVENS have started opening early in the year....this implies that there ain;t no stoppin YOU in 2010. I'd like you to just take time out and worship God for what He's set to do for you. Thank Him for the rains...for the showers....for the Abundance of rain.....I do not only hear the sound og the abundance of rain..... i see the abundance of rain.....God be praised. Halleluyah to YOU most HIGH GOD.

Just worship Him and praise Him. He's awesome.!!!!

joke of d day

An "Oldie" but a "Goodie" --- From Bayshore Bulletin
During a fired-up sermon, the spirit impressed a great illustration on a local pastor. He said, "Our church needs to get back to the basics. We need to become like a babe, and learn to get up on our hands and knees and crawl like we've never CRAWLED before.

This church needs to CRAWL before the Lord."

As the pastor paused briefly, From the back of the sanctuary came a voice crying out, "Let 'er CRAWL preacher, let 'er CRAWL."

The pastor continued, "Then we need to work on studying the word and strenthening ourselves to where we can STAND and be strong in our faith.

We need to STAND for the LORD."

From the back of the sanctuary the voice replied back, "Let 'er STAND preacher, let 'er STAND."

Encouraged even more, the pastor continued his illustration by saying, "This church needs to then take one step at a time, putting one foot in front of the other until we can WALK with the Lord the way we should.

This church needs to WALK for the Lord."

From the back of the sanctuary the voice replied back, "Let 'er WALK preacher, let 'er WALK."

By now the Pastor was fully inspired by the encouraging Brother in the back.

Spurred on by the response the pastor continued with enthusiasm, "The church needs to then get into a stride where we can RUN for God. But first, it's going to take each and every member of this church, each and every one of you, to join in.

"You're each going to have to make a commitment to tithe, you're each going to have to make a commitment to study the Word daily, you're each going to have to commit to pray daily, and you're each going to have to commit to assembling here as part of this body each and every time the church doors are open.

"Then and only then, can this church RUN for the Lord."

After an exceptionally long and thoughtful pause the voice cried out from the back of the sanctuary with a somewhat disappointed tone, . . .

"Let 'er CRAWL Preacher, Let 'er CRAWL."

25 truths about time

The year is still fresh and new and I feel it's very key that we understand some basic truths about time. You may feel..."yeah yeah, the year is still new, I have all the time in the world, I'd do this tomorrow, I'd do that next month..bla bla blu blu bla..." and before you know it, it's December again, and u become the remorseful wisher who wishes he had taken advantage of the year. We have 360 days to go this year; Map out your strategies, your goals, your dream/ambition for the year. When you map it out, write it out...writing it out is very key!!!!!

Habakkuk 2:2 (Amplified version) And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.

I pray God helps us to make the most of our time and that we'd achieve the bulk of our positive dreams, visions and goals. No delays!!!No procastination!!!; what that simply means is that NO REGRETS!!!!

25 Truths About Time

What's your relationship with time. Does time rule your life? Do you have enough of it? Are you spending it on wants or shoulds or coulds? Here are 25 random thoughts on time that help me get the most of the time I have. Which might be helpful to you? What other thoughts help you enjoy the fruits of your time?
1. Time is a limited resource - you can't make more of it. But, you have more time than you need if you use it wisely.

2.You choose how to spend your time.

3.Time is elastic - you can stretch it or compress it.

4.Do what matters to you.

5.Eliminate shoulds and coulds.

6.Be early always. Take along something to read or do in case you have to wait.

7.Plan your year, months, weeks and days to help you stay focused on those things that matter most to you.

8.But, don't plan your time out to the last second. Leave time for crisis, chaos, surprises. Leave time for serendipity.

9.Slow down.

10.Set goals that matter to you - that you want to achieve.

11.Take time away from work. 100 percent away. Phone off, Blackberry off, computer off. Take time away a bit every day, a bit every week. Get away four weeks per year.

12.Live in the present. The past is gone - no matter how much time you spend agonizing over it, it will not change. If you need help letting go of the past, get it. The future isn't here yet - worrying about it will not make it better or worse. Only action taken now can make a difference.

13.When deciding what to work on, I like to think about Return On Time Invested (ROTI). ROTI is a particularly useful concept for the entrepreneurs, professionals and business owners I work with. ROTI is simply the revenue, or profit that an activity is likely to generate divided by the time the activity will take.

14.If you are self-employed, set a dollar value on your time and choose to get it.

15.Fully handle things once. Finish them completely and permanently.

16.Say no often. Offer to help less often.

17.Under-promise.

18.Choose to associate with people and organizations who help you extract the most value out of each of your minutes. Choose not to associate with people and organizations who waste your time.

19.Solve your own problems. Let others solve their own problems.

20.On the other hand, don't be afraid to ask for help. (For example, men, how much time do you waste each year trying to find an address? Ask!!)

21.Focus. Don't multi-task. You'll get more done, and at a higher quality level.

22.Take a real break in the middle of the day.

23.Enjoy the process, not just the result.

24.Listen fully before responding. You'll waste less time answering the wrong question or responding to the wrong concern.

25.Let it be.

JOKES FOR THE DAY!!!!

A Problem With Teeth

This minister just had all of his remaining teeth pulled and new dentures were being made. The first Sunday, he only preached 10 minutes. The second Sunday, he preached only 20 minutes. But, on the third Sunday, he preached 1 hour 25 minutes.

When asked about this by some of the congregation, he responded this way.

The first Sunday, my gums were so sore it hurt to talk.

The second Sunday, my dentures were hurting a lot.

The third Sunday, I accidentally grabbed my wife’s dentures… and I guess that I just couldn’t stop talking!

Trying To Help The People Or The Benevolent Landlord

A big, burly man visited the pastor's home and asked to see the minister's wife, a woman well known for her charitable impulses.

"Madam," he said in a broken voice, "I wish to draw your attention to the terrible plight of a poor family in this district. The father is dead, the mother is too ill to work, and the nine children are starving. They are about to be turned into the cold, empty streets unless someone pays their rent, which amounts to $400."

"How terrible!" exclaimed the preacher's wife. "May I ask who you are?"

The sympathetic visitor applied his handkerchief to his eyes. "I'm the landlord," he sobbed.

NEW LEVEL

It's yet another day in the new year....and phew...I'm still all excited becos I know what this year holds for me. It's gonna be a great year for me; I'm not being selfish but there's a desperate feeling inside of me that leaves me with no choice- I'm an eagle, I must soar in 2010.

It's not just a new year, it's the beginning of a new decade as well.....meaning all things in it's totality are made "NEW".i.e new commitements, new relationships, new lifestyle, new attitudes, new character, new testimonies, new song and as many new things that you can think of.

When you think of the word "NEW", what comes to mind is that the fact that there was an "OLD" and it also implies that the "OLD" has given way to a fresh beginning which we call "NEW".
An old testimony that will give way to a new one
An old song will give way to a new one
An Old attitude will give way to a new one

Have you ever noticed that when something becomes old, it becomes odd. Let's imagine you wearing an old "ko-shoe" on your new 3/4 gown or even a new pair of jean....like in the case of our own very popular "JENIFA", yels.....u look odd!!!!
Same applies when you still have an "oldie" on in a new year. U become so odd!!!!

It's a new year, a new season, a new decade and a new beginning for some readers of this blog. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the God of a new beginning, in this new year, will cause...

1. Ur old and odd testimony to give way to a new one
2. Ur Old and odd song to give way to a new song
3. Ur old and odd attitude to give way to a new one
4. Ur old wine to give way to a new one.

As Eagles, we need to understand that Old strength must give way to a new strength. It is only Him who is able to make all things new. I assure u by His mercies, that if thus far all your life you've been crwaling, walking or the best u have ever done is to run (mind u all of those are still the ground levels), then in this new season, GOD will cause you to fly. He'd give u wings to fly. He'd even cause you to soar. All those you though have left you behind, u will meet and overtake them in the name of Jesus........U know no matter how fast a car runs, it can never beat the airplane to the same destination. That is wat happens when u leave the ground level God is gonna give wings to someone this year....and he's gonna make u soar higher than u ever thought.

Why would God choose to do this.....because He's the God of all flesh. Also He's the God who raises a man from the dunghill and places him with princes. Psalm 113:7-9
Praise God today for wat He's set to do in your life, even as u join me in this soaring experience. I have to get back to work right now ooo.
bHave a great day y'all
