TRUST!!!

Good morning and happy new week to you. It's another Monday morning and it feels good to be alive on this day!!!! I had an extremely busy weekend which explains why this blog was blank on saturday and sunday.....

Looking through my scriptures this morning, I stumbled on the book of Is 43, I shook once again at how great our God is. I personally make the mistake of underestimating God sometimes when som silly situations crop up. Scriptures like this gears my faith and strengthens my trust in God.

HE is the only GOD who is to be feared. He answers to no-one. v:13 gives us a deeper insight as to who HE truly is..."YEA, BEFORE THE DAY WAS, I AM HE: AND THERE IS NONE THAT CAN DELIVER OUT OF MY HAND. I WILL WORK AND WHO SHALL LET IT?"He has the abiity to save and to deliver.

One of the names my mum used to qualify GOD is "Obarikiyatan". For many years, I never bothered to find out what the word meant. I used to think it was just one complex name used to describe a complex GOD; Yesterday, I asked my mum....wat does this complex name mean??? She answered and said "O-ba-rin-ki-iya-tan". she went further and said "eni ti a ma barin ti iya a tan". This means that He is the One you'd work with and a sure end comes to your suffering..or simply put, my walking with HIM guarantees me an end o suffering.

The place of walking with God and trusting HIM fully can never be over-emphasized. When He's Alpha, He's Omega. When HE begins with you, He's see u through. Just hold unto the one who has promised to be with you in the fire and through the waters, because He's the Lord thy God, the Holy one of Isreal, thy Saviour: He gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.Note that in the course of soaring, there are tendencies that you'd grow weak, your wings could even fail you. You could feel like you'd just fall from your heights at anytime. That's where His support comes. He lifts us up and also keeps us up by His grace and mercy.

As we proceed in our soaring experience, I pray that God is going to help us trust in Him. He's grace is going to be sufficient for us and He'd not just lift us up higher, He'd keep us up as well. Have a blessed week ahead.

I have heard different names used for God in Yoruba (Arugbo Ojo, Alagbada Ina, etc), but this new one I have never heard before...I will certainly be adding it to the list of the names of God that I know.

Even more importantly, I pray that I personally know God by this name...Obarikiyatan...

Thanks for sharing!
